A Walkers Tale

For me winter is a good time to get out and explore somewhere new - and it is a good time to explore somewhere you might not otherwise think to explore. And today we are exploring the coastal end of the Weardale Way , walking from Sunderland up towards Durham, having previously walked this trail between Bishop Auckland and Durham last year.

Today I fancied exploring somewhere new, and tempted by the idea of exploring Durham more than anything else, decided today to do some walking along the  Weardale Way from Bishop Auckland to Durham.
